The Brawby Boogie A Workshop in Simple Melodic, Jazzy, Soulful Playing The Brawby Boogie was written by Snake Davis as a result of his appearances at The Shed© and the Pied Piper workshops in the days when the great Yorkshire Pudding Boat race weres held there. This piece features in many of Snake’s workshops. It is a happy simple Latin-influenced piece which works well for most instruments.

"Would you like a better sound? A bigger sound? A more individual ?
sound? More control? Are your long notes a bit thin and occasionally ?
sharp? Do you struggle to play quiet low notes?
Solo artist and saxman to the stars Snake Davis is
renowned particularly for his sound, his passionate soulful tone and
has always maintained that sound quality is the most important part
of saxophone playing. What good is a great finger technique if its
not supported by a fantastic sound? The notes wont mean anything."
On this DVD he demonstrates new exercises to improve the tone quality and overall control of any player. Suitable for all levels. Demonstrated on alto and tenor saxes but easily applied to any wind instrument. |
