Snake has an exclusive new single being played by Steve Quirk on JazzFm. It's the popular Michael Jackson track - Human Nature. You can't hear it anywhere else at the moment. Please email Steve at steve@fusionflavours.com to request more airplay .... and we might get Snake to make it a single release. We've heard from a new fan that it will be played on Thursday 17th September between 2pm and 4pm but it's worth tuning in all week at this time.... just in case..

Emailing Steve for Snakey requests (or any other radio show for that matter) is much appreciated.

Snake has just returned back to his studio after spending time at the Honister Slate Mine in the Lake District. He has been busy recording some amazing atmospheric music deep inside the slate mine.

We have high hopes that there will now be 2 albums released this year. A relaxing, atmospheric album as a result of the Honister Slate Mine recordings as well as a live album taken from recordings at Stokelsey and Durham.

You can hear some of Snake's work at www.honister.com. We got Snake on the famous Via Ferrata, but didn't have time to try the zip slide. maybe next time!

We’re really pleased to announce that we have just taken delivery of a small number of pre-release Snake Davis DVDs called Make It Sing!

The DVD is aimed at helping sax (or indeed any wind instrument) players to improve their sound, control and tone. It contains exercises that Snake uses, both new and tried and tested with the theory and practical illustrations (you can play along with him). It is demonstrated on both tenor and alto sax but can easily be applied to any wind instrument.

This pre-release batch will only be available directly from us. You can order by following the links in the website www.snakedavis.com from Snake performances or through the normal channels (ring, email or write). The DVD costs 15.50 (sterling pounds) including p&p or will be 14 (sterling punds) at shows. Cheques or postal orders to be made payable to Skin Records Ltd please.

As with our direct CD sales we will endeavour to send them out the same day as we receive orders and by first class post. If you want one early, please hurry as we only have one box full at the moment!!
