Message Rosehill theatre cumbria It was with great excitment that i bought my ticket and Snake didnt let me down at all. The band were brilliant and Snake well a master at what he does i only wish i could play half as good. The concert was out of this world. To all those who ask about sax lessons etc... We do have some provisional plans to run a series of workshops next year across the country. However, you girls and guys out there who are interested can really help us. Let us know where you are based so that we can try and link everything together. We'd also like to keep the cost of attending workshops down so that they are accessible to all, to help us do this, it'd be great if you could tell us of suitable Village Halls, Community Centres, Music rooms, etc that you think might be good places to hold them. Some amazing stuff went down, a Caribbean Fertility dance crossed with The Wakefield Wobble was just one of the things on offer............the music was of course, outstanding just like the man!! Used a special occassion as an excuse to treat ourselves to see Burden of Paradise at The Aroma in Barnsley. Initially thought it was expensive, but my word, what great value for money it was. I can see why Snake goes so often - brilliant food... 5 courses & coffee (great wine list) spread out over a wonderful relaxing evening, with FAB music, brilliant sound, everyone was so friendly - WE chatted to the band between songs, unbelievable. Pizza X - Maidstone - I saw Snake & awesome band at Pizza Express Maidstone Kent on Friday, I had to blag my way in as it was sold out! I told the manager I was a friend of Snake's (sorry mate!) I was carrying a shaped tenor sax case which I think may have helped! Snake was truly awesome, the band were superb & world class in all divisions, the sound man was also excellent. I have recently purchased a 1968 Selmer MkV1 tenor, I have not played for over 10 years but dearly want to get with it again! Snake, you have given me the push I needed; God bless ya! |

There are some more dates set up at Aroma for later this year I spoke with kristina and there are some new variations and artists to arrive there with Snake fronting it all. Although she would not divulge too much I know that they are looking at least 1 date per month for the first 6 months of the year but as usual you must book very early as they sell out like lightning but hardly surprising with the fantastic evening you have here. |

I have just come down off the ceiling after having spent one of the best nights of my life on Sat watching the Blue Shoes combo of Snake and Jim D these guys really compliment each other and seem to really love playing at the Aroma in Barnsley this has to be one of the best ever venues so very intimate and exclusive well worth the journey and both of the guys mixed with the crowd after signing albums photos etc excellent excellent excellent |

Soulboy,glad you enjoyed the M People and the Snake/Jim gigs. Both very different, but special in their own way. For me seeing Snake on the big stage was very special, five years since M People did a tour, so its been a long time coming!! Hoping to catch him in November at a few gigs "up north". |

Had two fantastic nights recently one at the Sheffield Arena watching Snake with M People ( Snakette you were spot on would not have missed it for the world)and then at Aroma Cafe Bar with Jim Diamond and Snake incredible to be so close to the guys very very good venue with a brilliant chef the boys obviously like it there and mixed with us all signing CDs etc ( right again Snakette well worth seeing these guys together)Looking for ward to the Adder Lessons album after purchasing Hysteria and Jims Souled and healed album is great. |

Snake played out of his skin last night at the M People gig in Glasgow. The venue was packed with thousands who knew every word of every song that Heather sang. Snake was at his powerful best and look so comfortable on the big stage, and the crowd loved him!! Great to see Birchy up there with him as well, doing all the hard work on the keyboards. Of course the night ended with Snake's fantastic solo on "Moving on up", and then the deafening applause from the audience. Excellente! |

Soulboy cannot agree more with what you say the nights entertainment at Aroma was fantastic went along about a year ago never seen anything like it great music superb food magical atmosphere I try to get to allthe Snake gigs but you have to be quick as it seems to sellout months in advance. Spoke with the owners and I am reliably informed that Snake is playing with various guests nearly every month next year so get ready to book early will try to get some dates and post them for all . |

AA do release here in the UK as well. Any of the top internet site have American English. I'm also very pleased to see that Snake is putting out an album, "Adder Lessons", featuring some of his earlier work off "Wonderful World", "Second Skin" and "Music Man". I am lucky enough to have all three and they are brilliant, so I think "Adder Lessons" is a must! BTW, soulboy, "Second Skin" is one of the albums that Frank features on, when he was a member of Snake and The Charmers. |

Soulboy, Acoustic Alchemy start their next UK tour May, 2006 and I'm keeping my fingers crossed that Snake will again take the stage with them. Snake currently features on AA's new CD "American English" and in particular "The Crossing" and "The Detroit Shuffle" are getting a lot of airplay in the US and Snake's prowess with the sax is coming in for a lot of well deserved plaudits. I have seen Jim and Snake play together quite a few times and they are a must, a very unique duo with lots of soul! I am at the moment waiting with baited breath for the M People gigs to start, if you haven't see Snake on the big stage, YOU MUST............he belongs there!! |

Thanks for that the guy was quite amazing to say the least. Have you got any dates for Acoustic Alchemy when snake is playing with them or will we have to wait for next tour.Also just booked to see the band again at Aroma in Dec tried to get in for Jim Diamond but already fully booked so again will try to catch up with them later have you seen them play together. |

Soulboy, the bass guitarist playing that night was Frank Felix. Frank is a long time sparring partner of Snake's. Frank use to be in a couple of Snake's bands but as Snake said now tours in the UK and the US with Acoustic Alchemy. Earlier on this year Snake was the guest saxophonist at the UK dates for Acoustic......as ever FANTASTIC. |

The first photo has Snake 1st left on the back row and Miles at the very front. Snake has hardly aged at all!! He was actually asked if he would do a Zoot and the Roots reunion gig at Altrincham on Friday. This band has gone down in history up here in the North, enough:-) |

Thanks so much to Snake and the band for an unforgettable night last night. I'm from Scarbrough but at Uni in Lincoln - as soon as my parents told me Snake was playing I decided to go home for the weekend, nevermind the fact I should have been at Uni this morning! I'm glad I did go home, because not only did I have a great night, blissed out by the music, I could tell just how much the kids were loving it as well. Of the 8 or so years of celebrity concerts I've played with the EASY bands, last night's was definitely one of the very best, and I only wish I was still a member so i could have been up ther with them.
Thanks again to the whole crew, I'm glad to hear you like playing in Scarbrough and hope you can come back soon!!

Hi may i say i think snake davis is apsolutly fantastic. My name is vicky pounder i am 17 and i have only been playing the saxophone for 9 weeks and i was told by my teacher that i had to go and see him. I went lastnight and what a insperation to any budding saxophonists like me. Apsolutly fabulose Snake well done. Also a message from Mick Donnelly he says "hi and im never mean to my pupils i know what i want but not mean"
